Position Type: Part Time / Swing Shift 

Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

Sat02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Sun02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and/or visitors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor entry and exit points within a residential community, verify authorization for access, check visitor and vendor information, and document security-related activity according to post instructions.
  • Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues to property management and/or emergency services when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around community amenities, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter access points to help identify unusual activity and/or conditions that may need attention.
  • Support front gate and community access operations by communicating clearly with residents and authorized guests, maintaining accurate logs, and following established procedures for deliveries, contractors, and after-hours entry.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
