As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver in Gonzales, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer in a food and beverage location, you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns according to site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, verifying credentials and/or permissions in accordance with site-specific procedures while maintaining a professional presence.
  • Support Allied Universal and site personnel with routine security-related checks, communication of post orders, and timely escalation of maintenance, operational, and/or security-related issues.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
