Job Description

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing, with a focus on post-wafer processing, dicing, or sub-assembly builds.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
  • Proficiency in configuring and navigating standard operations systems (MES/PLM) to establish manufacturing routes and sequences.
  • Strong background in data analytics (SQL, Python, JMP, or Tableau) with the ability to perform root-cause analysis and trend identification.
  • Ability to author high-fidelity Work Instructions (WIs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for a technical audience.
  • Ability to distill complex engineering changes into clear, actionable steps for production technicians.

Google's Raxium display group has established a revolutionary semiconductor materials display technology that enables new functionality in display products, bringing to users a closer and more natural linkage between the digital and physical realms in applications such as augmented reality (AR) and light-field display. With start-up roots and a state-of-the-art compound semiconductor fab in Silicon Valley, Raxium is seeking to build upon its engineering team with an aim to disrupt next-generation display markets.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $120000 - $172000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities

  • Product Operations and Change Execution: technical clarity - Provide the production control and logistics team with precise technical guidance on Product operations and engineering changes, ensuring engineering intent is accurately translated into executable workflows for the technicians to follow.
  • Requirement Translation: Lead the cross-functional coordination on translating technical requirements into actionable steps for OSPT and builds.
  • Business Process Optimization: system operationalization - Utilize Standardize MES workflows to promote efficiency in the process flows. 
  • Material Coordination and Strategic Alignment: logistical oversight - Manage the logistical aspects of product movement, coordinate with Production Control and Logistics teams to ensure smooth material flow through thinning, dicing, and assembly; vendor engagement. 
  • Data Analytics and Insights: Extract and synthesize MES, JMP to track real-time dashboards for OSPT Cycle Time (CT) and performance to commit.
