We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a motivated professional with a strong background in public accounting, tax preparation, and client advisory. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality tax services, reviewing work, and supporting complex business clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and corporations
  • Review work prepared by staff accountants and provide constructive feedback and mentorship
  • Manage and support complex business clients, including multi-entity structures and high-net-worth individuals
  • Conduct tax research and resolve technical issues
  • Collaborate with team members and clients to ensure accurate and timely deliverables
  • Identify opportunities for tax planning and process improvements
  • Maintain compliance with all applicable regulations and firm standards

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in public accounting required; 5+ years preferred, with a focus on tax compliance and advisory
  • Demonstrated experience reviewing tax returns and mentoring junior staff
  • Strong background in complex business tax engagements (multi-entity, partnerships, S-corps, etc.)
  • Solid understanding of federal and state tax laws and compliance requirements
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

Preferred Credentials

  • CPA, EA, or actively working toward certification strongly preferred
