The Senior Accountant I supports accurate, timely, and compliant financial operations across Didlake’s contract, commercial, and corporate business lines. This role ensures strong internal controls, reliable reporting, and effective billing processes that support organizational leadership and mission impact.

What You Will Do

  • Perform moderately complex accounting activities including general ledger, accounts receivable, billing, reconciliations, and revenue review.
  • Ensure timely and accurate billing to customers and funders; maintain customer, rate, and contract data in accounting systems.
  • Review routine and non-routine contracts for appropriate accounting treatment and accuracy.
  • Prepare monthly reconciliations and supporting schedules in compliance with U.S. GAAP.
  • Assist with cash receipts, bank reconciliations, and accounts receivable reporting.
  • Support monthly financial reporting for department leaders and executive management.
  • Assist with annual budgeting and external audit preparation.
  • Develop and maintain accounting procedures and internal controls; recommend process improvements.
  • Provide guidance to Accounting Specialists and collaborate with the accounting team.
