Summary:
Infintium Fuel
Cell Systems, Inc. is developing next generation hydrogen fuel cell systems for
industrial vehicles in the Upstate South Carolina are. We are
currently looking for an experienced management accountant who will work with
company leadership to maintain financial oversight of the organization. This
role is perfect for a candidate who doesn’t mind rolling up their sleeves
and getting hands-on with the accounting procedures of a startup technical
manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities / Duties:
This role at
Infintium is expected to:
- Analyzes past and present financial results to produce month
and quarter close financial packages sent to company leadership, ownership, and
investors - Conducts regular estimates of future revenues & expenditures
to provide forecasting data to relevant parties, while helping to design departmental
budgeting - Updates cost
models for each month based on latest released BOM from engineering team (such as costing of each Power
Cell product and warranty/maintenance service) - Collects, analyzes,
and reports on product variance including production scrap, inventory parts
adjustment, and other changes affecting the monthly financial package - Leads periodic physical inventory audits, including scrap,
work in process and finished goods, and is responsible for
cycle counting adjustments for inventory variances - Documents write-offs, reserves analysis,
reconciliations, and performs other data collection for monthly/quarterly
reporting periods - Maintains the Fixed Assets Sheet and
related aging of depreciable assets on the Balance Sheet - Manages the process of vendor payments and supplier data
within ERP systems - Reviews billing documents for the customer invoicing process
and keeps track of accounts receivable balances in order to follow up as
necessary - Creates all system reporting as needed and serves a key contact for
internal process mapping
Required Qualifications / Experience:
The applicant for this position must meet these requisites:
- Bachelor's Degree
in Accounting, Finance, or a related field - 5+ years of cost and/or
management accounting experience in a manufacturing industry - Advanced skills
in Microsoft Office Suite and an enterprise resource planning (ERP) software - Understanding of
the accountant principles relevant to our company (US GAAP) - Hands on
experience in configuration of costing standards and teaching these to others - Knowledge of
inventory processes related to a manufacturing environment - Ability to
precisely maintain current data sets and organize additional required reporting - Excellent verbal
and written communication skills throughout internal and external interactions
Desired Knowledge / Skills
In addition, the ideal applicant also would meet the
following:
- Knowledge of SAP,
Netsuite and QuickBooks is preferred - Past experience
with accounting in a public company, especially with roots as a startup - Prior involvement
with a PCAOB audit or similar procedure for a fundraising company
