About the Department
This position is pending final approval by the Board of Trustees and is anticipated to begin with the start of fiscal year 2027 on July 1, 2026. Accordingly, selected candidates will not begin employment prior to July 1, 2026.
Position Duties
- Serves as a central point of liaison with other departments in resolving day-to-day matters concerning the Campus President and/or Vice President’s office
- Maintains records regarding finances, completed contracts, personnel actions, and enrollments as they relate to the Campus President and/or Vice President’s office
- Provides administrative support for the Campus President and/or Vice President’s office, including screening and handling telephone communications, greeting and directing visitors, and dealing with administrative problems and inquiries
- Organizes meetings or assists with special events, schedules and coordinates appointments on the Campus President and/or Vice President’s calendar, and may take minutes and provide administrative support and follow-up on matters arising from meetings
- Gathers, enters, and/or updates data to maintain records and databases, establishing and maintaining files and records of a confidential nature
- Composes written documentation and correspondence for the Campus President and/or Vice President’s office, screens incoming and outgoing correspondence, and prepares responses as appropriate
- Prepares appropriate documents to requisition supplies, handle maintenance issues, and other services
- Assists in processing pay documents for personnel assigned to the Campus President and/or Vice President’s office
- Additional duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- Associate Degree's (or equivalent experience) with a minimum of five (5) years of experience.
