Job Description

100% Onsite - Durant, OK | Monday-Friday | 8:00AM-4:30PM 

Job Purpose or Objective(s): Responsible for driving strategic investments and business development through financial modeling, market research, and quantitative analysis. Supports M&A, capital allocation, and portfolio optimization with due diligence, valuation, and risk assessments. Delivers data-driven insights to leadership and stakeholders while ensuring compliance and leveraging advanced analytics and AI tools to enhance strategy and mitigate risk. You will report to the Director of Business Development. 

 

Primary Tasks:

  1. Develop and maintain advanced financial models (DCF, CCA, PTA) to evaluate investments, acquisitions, and strategic initiatives, supporting long-term planning and ROI analysis.
  2. Conduct market and competitive analysis to assess industry trends, risks, and opportunities, delivering strategic recommendations that inform business growth.
  3. Lead financial and operational due diligence to evaluate the health, performance, and strategic fit of potential investments or acquisition targets.
  4. Monitor and optimize portfolio performance by analyzing capital efficiency, returns, and risk exposure, and recommending improvement strategies.
  5. Create and deliver executive-level reports, dashboards, and financial insights using business intelligence tools to support decision-making.
  6. Support strategic planning and budgeting by aligning forecasts, capital investment models, and financial planning with organizational objectives.
  7. Manage the full M&A lifecycle, from opportunity screening and valuation to deal structuring, risk analysis, and integration planning, while ensuring confidentiality of sensitive information and documentation.
  8. Analyze business development and expansion opportunities, including market entry strategies, partnerships, and operational improvements.
  9. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, advisors, and stakeholders to evaluate proposals, gather insights, and support strategic initiatives, while maintaining confidentiality of all related materials.
  10. Drive process improvement and lead high-impact projects by identifying inefficiencies, enhancing analytics, and delivering ad hoc analysis and executive presentations. 
  11. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor's degree in related field such as management science, finance, accounting, business, economics or quantitative field

  • Seven (7) years of experience in business development, accounting, or relevant financial role

  • Hands on proficiency with key software programs including Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint) and the potential to use advanced decision support analytic tools

  • Strong analytical, written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively on multiple projects simultaneously

  • Working knowledge of overall business operations

  • Excellent commercial and financial acumen and attention to detail
