Description

The Senior Clinical Practice Manager (SCPM) is a senior clinician-operator embedded within MEDvidi's Clinical Operations function. This role is accountable for provider performance, clinical quality oversight, and operational execution across an assigned provider portfolio. Functioning as a bridge between clinical leadership and front-line providers, the SCPM drives quality improvement, manages complex escalations, and ensures that MEDvidi's standards of care are consistently met within a highly regulated telehealth environment.


Responsibilities

Provider Support & Performance Monitoring

  • Provides senior clinical leadership and operational direction to Clinical Practice Managers and Clinical Quality Leads, driving the build-out of an RN-led provider management model that centers clinical expertise in trend identification, performance oversight, and day-to-day operational decision-making.
  • Serve as an operational and clinical resource for an assigned cohort of providers directly managed by RNs, handling routine inquiries, documentation questions, and workflow guidance.
  • Track provider-level trends via the Clinical Excellence Index (CEI), flagging anomalies or performance concerns.
  • Support the scheduling and documentation of provider 1:1 meetings per the established cadence.
  • Assist in the development and delivery of individualized coaching feedback.

Quality Assurance & Documentation

  • Conduct chart reviews and audits; escalate findings with clinical nuance as appropriate.
  • Ensure providers maintain compliance with MEDvidi note standards.
  • Participate in collaborative peer review processes and contribute to quality improvement efforts.

Operational Execution

  • Participate in the development, refinement, and enforcement of SOPs.
  • Collaborate with the Director and clinical ops teams on the monthly provider educational series, including content development and facilitation.
  • Partner with Care Management on escalated patient cases requiring clinical judgment and triage.
  • Ensure provider compliance with state-specific regulatory requirements, including e-prescribing workflows, collaborative MD agreements, and documentation standards.
  • Assist with onboarding of new providers, including interviews, orientation to clinical documentation standards and platform workflows.
  • Represent Clinical Operations in cross-functional meetings with Biz Ops, Legal/HR, and the Capacity team as needed.

Clinical Practice Expectation

  • Maintains a limited clinical caseload not to exceed 4 hours of patient care per week (approximately 10% of role capacity)
  • Participates in clinical coverage


Requirements

Required

  • Active, unrestricted APRN license in good standing; eligible for multi-state licensure or currently licensed in MEDvidi operating states (10+ licenses) including a DEA registration. 
  • Minimum 7-10 years of clinical practice experience; minimum of two years telehealth experience required and prior operations or QI leadership required.
  • Prior experience in clinical operations, quality improvement, or provider management capacity.
  • Demonstrated ability to review and critically evaluate clinical documentation and prescribing practices.
  • Familiarity with controlled substance prescribing regulations, including DEA requirements and state-specific rules.
  • Proficiency in EMR systems; prior experience with e-prescribing workflows required.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to deliver constructive feedback to clinical peers.

Preferred

  • Experience in behavioral health, psychiatry, or addiction medicine.
  • Familiarity with quality frameworks, chart auditing, or clinical performance metrics.
  • Experience working within a structured performance management system (e.g., Lattice, BambooHR).
  • Comfort with AI-assisted tools, clinical decision support, or data platforms.

WORKING CONDITIONS

This is a fully remote, telehealth-based position. The SCPM must have a dedicated, HIPAA-compliant workspace and reliable internet access. The role requires availability during standard business hours with occasional flexibility to support provider schedules across multiple time zones.
