How You Will Contribute
Executive Support & Strategic Partnership
- Serve as a strategic partner to the executive, proactively managing priorities, schedules, and competing demands.
- Optimize executive time through effective calendar management, meeting prioritization, and preparation.
- Anticipate needs and independently resolve issues to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Project & Operational Management
- Lead and coordinate complex, cross-functional projects and initiatives on behalf of the executive.
- Track progress on strategic priorities, ensuring accountability and timely execution.
- Develop and implement processes to improve workflow efficiency and organizational effectiveness.
- Manage special projects, including research, analysis, and reporting.
Communication & Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as a primary point of contact between the executive and internal/external stakeholders.
- Draft, review, and manage high-level communications, correspondence, and presentations.
- Facilitate communication across departments to ensure alignment and clarity of priorities.
- Build and maintain strong, strategic relationships across all levels of the organization.
Meeting & Information Management
- Coordinate and manage executive meetings, including agendas, materials, minutes, and follow-ups.
- Ensure effective documentation and tracking of action items and decisions.
- Conduct research and synthesize information into concise summaries and reports.
Travel & Logistics
- Oversee complex travel planning and logistics, ensuring efficient and cost-effective arrangements.
- Manage detailed itineraries and provide real-time support during travel as needed.
Leadership & Administrative Oversight
- Provide direction, mentorship, and oversight to administrative staff or support teams.
- Establish and maintain administrative standards, tools, and best practices.
- Allocate and manage administrative resources to support executive and organizational needs.
Confidentiality & Discretion
- Handle sensitive information with the highest level of confidentiality and professionalism.
- Exercise sound judgment in all interactions and decision-making.
Requirements
Your Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years of progressively responsible executive support experience, preferably supporting C-suite leaders.
- Demonstrated ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and collaboration tools
Stand-Out From the Crowd Qualifications
- Experience in healthcare, nonprofit, or complex organizational environments.
- Prior experience supervising or leading administrative teams.
- Experience supporting executive-level strategy, planning, or board-related activities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Physical Aspects of the Job
- Prolonged periods of sitting and working at a computer.
- Frequent use of hands and fingers for typing, data entry, and operating office equipment.
- Ability to communicate effectively, including speaking and hearing, in person and via phone or virtual platforms.
- Ability to occasionally stand, walk, bend, and reach.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 15–25 pounds (e.g., files, office materials, or meeting supplies).

The Senior Executive Assistant, Growth, Marketing, and Employer Engagement provides high-level, strategic administrative and operational support to executive leadership, ensuring effective use of executive time, alignment of priorities, and seamless execution of organizational initiatives.
This role operates with a high degree of independence, discretion, and judgment, serving as a trusted partner to the executive. The position manages complex scheduling, communications, and organizational workflows while leading or coordinating cross-functional projects, initiatives, and administrative functions.
In addition to traditional executive support, this role plays a key part in driving organizational effectiveness - translating executive priorities into action, facilitating communication across stakeholders, and ensuring follow-through on strategic initiatives. The role may also oversee administrative staff and act as a liaison between executive leadership and internal/external partners.
