Description

This position is responsible for leading and overseeing key financial functions, including Project Control, Accounts Receivable, Invoice Dispute Resolution (IDR) financial management, and the Company’s Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) process. The Senior Finance Manager partners closely with Finance leadership, program teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure strong financial controls, accurate forecasting, timely billing and collections, and compliance with internal policies and customer requirements.

Requirements
  • Oversee Project Control activities, including project setup, budgeting, forecasting, revenue recognition support, and financial performance monitoring within Deltek Costpoint.
  • Manage the FP&A process, including annual budgeting, reforecasting, variance analysis, and management reporting.
  • Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making, program performance, and leadership reporting.
  • Oversee Accounts Receivable operations, ensuring timely and accurate billing, cash application, and collections.
  • Lead and manage IDR financial activities, including tracking, reconciliation and resolution in coordination with customers and internal teams.
  • Ensure accurate customer and project setup to support billing, revenue recognition, and contractual requirements.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance financial models, forecasts, and dashboards to improve visibility into project and company performance.
  • Establish, document, and maintain financial processes and internal controls related to Project Control, AR, IDR, and FP&A.
  • Monitor compliance with company policies, contractual requirements, and applicable federal regulations.
  • Support audits by preparing schedules, reports, and documentation, and serving as a key point of contact for financial inquiries.
  • Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities to increase efficiency and reduce risk.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop team members across Project Control, AR, and IDR functions.
  • Support ad hoc financial analysis, special projects, and leadership initiatives as needed.



Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, project control, or FP&A roles.
  • Strong knowledge of project-based accounting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Experience with Deltek Costpoint strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to analyze complex financial data, identify trends, and communicate results clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to solve complex problems and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to partner effectively across all levels of the organization.
