Job Description
The Senior Financial Analyst supports planning, forecasting and reporting across a portfolio of products, investments and projects. This position requires strong financial acumen and analytical skills combined with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to deliver insights to leadership and business partners. Other aspects of this role include the ability to manage complex data, influence decision making, and effectively collaborate cross-functionally.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Reporting and Analysis

  • Support the month-end close process through preparation, analysis, and delivery of accurate and timely financial reports to key business stakeholders highlighting results of operations and strategic projects.

  • Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable insights into business and project performance.

  • Enhance reporting to improve usefulness of information through analytical procedures and visualization tools.

  • Monitor financial trends and identify risks or opportunities to achieve financial goals.

Planning and Forecasting

  • Support the development of annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans for both operations and strategic projects.

  • Partner with business functions to ensure alignment between financial plans and operational goals.

  • Actively update financial forecasts based on changing business conditions.

  • Identify and recommend opportunities to streamline planning or forecasting processes.

Project Support

  • Lead or support cross-functional projects, including financial process improvement initiatives.

  • Serve as a key finance partner with financial platform enhancements and maintenance activities such as chargeback allocation models and methodologies.

  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy in financial systems by adhering to and enforcing data governance guidelines and best practices.

  • Collaborate with IT, HR, and operations teams to optimize system functionality for financial reporting and planning.

Qualifications (Education, Experience, Certifications & KSA):

  • Bachelor’s Degree, Business – preferably accounting or finance concentration

  • Master’s Degree, Business – preferred

  • CPA or CFA or candidates for one or both – preferred

  • 3 – 4 Years of relevant work experience
