We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our team. This is a hybrid opportunity based out of Waltham, MA.
Job Summary
The Senior Financial Analyst is a high-visibility FP&A role supporting Imprivata's customer-facing organizations, including Professional Services, Managed Services, Customer Success, and Technical Support. Reporting to the Manager of FP&A, this position serves as the primary finance business partner to the Chief Customer Officer and collaborates closely with executive leadership to drive financial and operational performance. This role is responsible for planning, forecasting, reporting, KPI development, scenario analysis, and strategic decision support. By delivering actionable financial insights and enhancing operational visibility, the Senior Financial Analyst helps leaders make informed decisions, optimize resource allocation, and execute against key business objectives.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead planning, forecasting, budgeting, and monthly financial review processes across COGS departments including Managed and Professional Services, Customer Success, and Technical Support
- Serve as the primary finance business partner for leadership, providing financial insights, operational analysis, and decision support
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results, including variance analysis against budget, forecast, and prior periods
- Build and maintain operational and financial metrics that provide visibility into organizational performance, resource utilization, productivity, and strategic initiative outcomes
- Develop and maintain financial models, executive dashboards, and reporting packages used to support strategic planning and executive decision-making
- Improve reporting scalability and efficiency through automation, process optimization, and enhanced reporting capabilities
- Utilize Workday Adaptive, NetSuite, Salesforce, and related business intelligence tools to support reporting, analysis, and planning activities
- Prepare executive-level presentations, board support materials, and ad hoc financial analyses as required
- Mentor Financial Analysts and support adoption of financial planning and reporting best practices across the organization
- Other duties as assigned and required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or strategic finance roles within a SaaS or technology organization
- Experience supporting executive leadership and partnering directly with senior business stakeholders on strategic and operational initiatives
- Experience supporting Professional Services or Managed Services strongly preferred
- Strong experience in financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and business performance analytics
- Experience utilizing AI tools
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial modeling skills required, including scenario modeling and large data set analysis
- Experience with enterprise financial and planning systems - Workday Adaptive, NetSuite, and Salesforce preferred
- Experience building dashboards and executive reporting visualizations
- Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex financial and operational information into concise executive-level insights and recommendations
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with minimal supervision
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and drive process improvements through data-driven analysis and collaboration
This position offers a total compensation range of $115,000.00 to $125,000.00 (inclusive of base salary and variable compensation, such as bonuses and incentives). In addition, more information about Imprivata’s benefit offerings can be found here. This range represents the high and low end of Imprivata’s compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors, such as a candidate’s location, skills, experience, and qualifications.
