Senior Financial Analyst - Skilled Nursing Finance

We are seeking a talented Senior Financial Analyst to join our growing finance team at Kadima Healthcare, a leading provider of Skilled Nursing Facilities in PA.

About the Role:

As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting the day-to-day accounting operations and broader financial initiatives of our organization. This is a fully in-office position based in Hackensack, NJ, and you will work closely with executive leadership to analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide insights to drive business decisions.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with monthly close process across assigned facilities/entities

  • Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules

  • Analyze balance sheet and income statement activity for accuracy and completeness

  • Ensure transactions are properly recorded, coded, and reconciled

  • Assist in maintaining general ledger integrity and financial accuracy

  • Support bookkeeping and accounting operations as needed

  • Monitor financial activity and follow up on outstanding items

  • Provide analytical support to executive leadership and operations teams

  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows and reduce manual processes

  • Utilize technology, automation, and AI tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy within the finance function

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

  • 2-5 years of accounting or financial analysis experience, preferably within SNF, long-term care, or healthcare

  • Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals and financial statements

  • Experience with month-end close and reconciliations

  • Strong Excel and organizational skills

  • Detail-oriented with strong follow-through and problem-solving abilities

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CPA license or CPA candidate preferred, but not required

  • Experience with Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement or cost reports a plus

  • Familiarity with healthcare accounting systems and ERP platforms

  • Interest in process improvement, automation, and AI-driven finance tools
