Senior General Ledger (GL) Accountant (Onsite)

Location: Chapel Hill, NC (onsite; relocating to Timberlake, NC mid-year)
Employment Type: Full-time, Exempt

About the Role:

Voltage is seeking an experienced Senior General Ledger (GL) Accountant to oversee the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of the company�s general ledger and financial reporting processes. This role supports and executes month-end and year-end close, account reconciliations, intercompany transactions, and compliance with U.S. GAAP (and IFRS where applicable).

What You�ll Do:

• Execute monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
• Perform timely reconciliation of balance sheet accounts and resolve variances.
• Manage fixed assets, depreciation schedules, and capitalized projects.
• Prepare accurate financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
• Maintain GL structure within ERP system (SAP experience preferred).
• Support treasury, accounts receivable, and accounts payable activities as needed.

What We�re Looking For:

• Bachelor�s degree in Finance or Accounting.
• A minimum of 5-8+ years of progressive accounting.
• Strong experience with full-cycle month-end close.
• Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting principles.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred).
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to partner cross-functionally.
• High level of integrity, attention to detail, and accountability.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to communicate effectively in person and via phone/video. Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 pounds
