THE ROLE: Senior Maintenance Technician
LOCATION: Waukesha, WI
REPORTS TO: Plant Manager
POSITION TYPE: Full-time, Exempt
OUR OPPORTUNITY:
The Senior Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on various equipment and systems within our facility. This role requires a proactive individual with strong technical skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery, equipment, and systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems.
- Plan, document, and execute a comprehensive Preventative Maintenance program.
- Use predictive technologies to preemptively avoid breakdowns.
- Repair and replace defective parts and components.
- Conduct inspections to identify potential problems and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operation of machines and facilities.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures.
- Perform additional duties as required to support business needs.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 5 years experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Ability to work in a team environment, including daily interaction with various associates and multiple levels within the manufacturing environment.
- Have a positive attitude and the ability to work under pressure, schedules, and deadlines.
- Must have basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Physical requirements include regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 50 pounds. Twisting, turning, grasping, reaching, kneeling, crawling, pulling, and extended periods of standing/walking.
