THE JOB:

As the Senior Manager of Bar & Lounge, you will take the helm of three key venues: 875 Lounge, BetMGM Sportsbook Bar, and Lux Lounge/MGM Swing Suites. In this role, you’ll lead the charge by guiding your management and service teams, managing the venue's bottom line, and ensuring we deliver smooth, high-quality service on the floor. THE DAY-TO-DAY:

  • Owns, leads, and oversees health and safety standards, labor productivity, scheduling, inventory control, and the execution and development of marketing strategies to produce both short-term and long-term profitability.

  • Partner with the Director of Beverage to execute assigned business development initiatives and develop or monitor current practices to ensure financial objectives are being met to maximize potential financial return.

  • Manages Human Resources responsibilities to include: creating a work environment that promotes teamwork, performance feedback (coaching and counseling), recognition, mutual respect, and employee satisfaction; quality hiring, training, development, and succession planning; and compliance with company policies, legal requirements, employment law, and collective bargaining agreements.

  • Supervises floor operations during operating hours to include promotions and nightly activations while managing the delivery and measurement of guest service consistent with the company's core service standards.

  • Monitors and analyzes industry trends and market changes in order to maximize profitability of venues and operations.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • Must have 2+ years of prior relevant experience in a high-volume restaurant and/or bar/lounge setting.

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field is preferred.

  • Working knowledge of Point of Sale (POS) systems and operations, with the ability to execute guidelines for proper staffing to maximize efficiency and minimize labor costs.

  • Must be administratively strong, demonstrating exceptional organizational skills to manage marketing, scheduling, and back-office operations efficiently while meeting deadlines with attention to detail.

  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills to deal effectively with guests, management, and employees, while functioning under time constraints and deadlines with attention to detail.
