Position Summary

The Senior Manager, Product Marketing is responsible for driving product marketing strategy across AssistRx’s portfolio of technology and patient-support solutions. Reporting to the Senior Director of Product Marketing, this role translates business and product strategy into compelling value propositions, go-to-market plans, and sales enablement programs for highly regulated healthcare and pharmaceutical audiences.


This position plays a critical leadership role within the marketing function, partnering closely with Product Management, Sales, Client Success, and executive leadership to ensure AssistRx solutions are positioned for commercial success and aligned to evolving market and customer needs. The Senior Manager, Product Marketing serves as the connective tissue between product, commercial, and marketing teams—ensuring every product launch, positioning statement, and sales enablement asset clearly communicates AssistRx’s differentiated value and drives adoption.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Go-to-Market Strategy & Product Launches

  • Develop and own comprehensive go-to-market strategies for AssistRx’s patient-support and specialty-pharma solutions, including product positioning, messaging architecture, and enhancement and launch planning
  • Lead cross-functional product launch planning and execution, coordinating timelines, deliverables, and launch readiness across Product, Sales, Client Success, and Operations
  • Define and maintain buyer personas and customer journey maps to inform product positioning and campaign strategy 


Market Intelligence & Competitive Strategy

  • Analyze competitive landscape, customer insights, and emerging market trends to inform positioning and identify whitespace opportunities that drive differentiation
  • Partner with Health Policy Analyst on regulatory, payer, and market access trends in specialty pharmacy and patient-support services to ensure messaging reflects current market dynamics
  • Working with the Proposals and Sales Enablement team, leverage win/loss analyses for actionable recommendations for Sales, Product, and leadership


Sales Enablement

  • Build and maintain a robust sales enablement library, including decks, collateral, battle cards, and product narratives to empower the commercial team with differentiated, audience-specific messaging
  • Develop and deliver training programs that increase the commercial team’s product fluency and confidence in positioning AssistRx solutions 
  • Partner with Sales and Business Development leadership to align enablement programs with pipeline development goals and client engagement strategies

 

Content Strategy & Campaign Development

  • Partner with Marketing and Communications to develop integrated, high-impact content programs, including white papers, case studies, solution briefs, landing pages, videos, and thought-leadership campaigns that support demand generation and brand authority
  • Ensure all product marketing content and messaging meets compliance and regulatory standards within healthcare and pharmaceutical environments
  • Oversee messaging frameworks and brand voice guidelines for AssistRx solutions to ensure consistency and clarity across all market-facing materials

 

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Influence

  • Serve as a critical marketing liaison to Product Management, translating roadmap priorities into market-ready narratives and ensuring customer and competitive insights inform product decisions
  • Lead cross-functional alignment across Product, Sales, Client Success, and Data & Reporting teams, driving shared understanding of market positioning and commercial priorities
  • Influence without direct authority across senior stakeholders, advocating for customer-centric positioning and evidence-based marketing investments

 

Performance Tracking & Analytics

  • Establish and track KPIs to evaluate product marketing effectiveness, including adoption metrics, sales enablement utilization, pipeline influence, and campaign ROI
  • Leverage CRM, marketing automation, and analytics platforms to generate insights that optimize go-to-market execution and demonstrate marketing’s commercial impact

 

Vendor Management & Budget Oversight

  • Manage agency relationships and external partners supporting product marketing deliverables, ensuring quality execution, on-time delivery, and return on investment
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure efficient delivery of product marketing programs in alignment with organizational priorities

 

Team Leadership & Development

  • Mentor and guide marketing team members supporting product marketing initiatives, fostering a culture of accountability, curiosity, and continuous improvement
  • Support executive communications and thought leadership initiatives that elevate AssistRx’s visibility and authority within the specialty pharmacy and healthcare technology space


Qualifications

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field 


EXPERIENCE 

  • 8+ years of progressive experience in product marketing, healthcare marketing, or commercialization roles, preferably within healthcare, pharmaceutical, life sciences, or other regulated industries
  • Demonstrated success in developing and launching go-to-market strategies for complex software or service-based products
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional initiatives and influencing senior stakeholders in matrixed organizations
  • Experience operating within regulated environments requiring compliance review processes
  • Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered


SKILLS & COMPETENCIES - REQUIRED

  • Strong strategic planning and execution capabilities with a bias toward measurable outcomes
  • Exceptional storytelling, writing, and presentation skills; ability to translate complex technical capabilities into compelling client value
  • Deep experience with product positioning, messaging architecture, and sales enablement program design
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience leveraging competitive intelligence, customer research, and performance data to drive strategy
  • Proficiency with marketing automation, CRM, and analytics platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot)
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of B2B marketing dynamics in healthcare or life sciences
  • Demonstrated leadership, collaboration, and cross-functional stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced, high-growth environment


SKILLS & COMPETENCIES - PREFERRED

  • Experience in specialty pharmacy services, patient-access programs, or pharmaceutical commercialization
  • Familiarity with patient hub, hub services, or specialty distribution market dynamics
  • Experience supporting executive visibility and thought leadership platforms
  • Exposure to media relations, public relations strategy, or integrated brand campaigns
  • Change management or organizational transformation experience


Physical Demands and Work Environment 

  • Prolonged periods of sitting and working at a computer
  • Ability to review detailed marketing materials, analytics reports, and product documentation
  • Occasional travel for client meetings, industry events, or team engagements, as required
