Some photographers spend their careers chasing the next assignment. Click. Next.
If you've spent years hopping from project to project, juggling clients, chasing approvals, negotiating budgets, and wondering whether your best work is still ahead of you, this might be your lucky day.
At Life is Good, you'll trade transactional shoots for meaningful storytelling. You'll help shape the visual expression of a brand that has spent more than 30 years spreading the power of optimism through art, apparel, and positive impact. Your work won't disappear into a campaign and be forgotten. It will become part of a larger story that reaches millions of people and helps fund programs that support children facing some of life's toughest challenges.
We're looking for a Senior Photographer who sees more than a shot list. Someone who can find authenticity in a moment, personality in a pose, and emotion in the unexpected. Someone who knows when to chase the plan and when to follow the light.
This role is for a photographer who wants to do more than capture images. You'll collaborate with designers, marketers, storytellers, and founders who still care deeply about the work. You'll help create everything from national campaigns and product storytelling to brand moments that celebrate the people who make optimism real.
If you're energized by creative ownership, inspired by human connection, and excited by the idea of joining a founder-led company where your voice - and your eye - matters, we'd love to meet you.
Help us tell stories worth remembering.

Why This Job Exists
You are the creative engine behind the visual story of Life is Good. In partnership with the Director of Brand Creative and the Photo Studio team, you lead and execute high-quality photo shoots that bring our brand to life across eCommerce, social, catalog, and advertising. What You'll Do
- You serve as the primary photographer for on-model and lifestyle photo shoots, producing high-quality images that align to brand guidelines
- You concept and plan sets for laydowns, on-model, and lifestyle shoots — from prep through production
- You maintain exposure and color accuracy standards while managing a high volume of deliverables on schedule
- You own quality assurance on images — catching issues before they reach final delivery
- You manage equipment upkeep and studio cleanliness so the team can execute reliably, every day
- You serve as the team administrator for the digital asset management system, providing training and guidance cross-departmentally
- You handle file maintenance with consistent naming conventions and output standards so assets are always findable and usable
- You use AI-powered tools to accelerate image editing and retouching workflows, so your time goes toward creative decisions rather than repetitive tasks
- You explore AI tools for concept development and visual direction — using them to rapidly generate mood boards, iterate on creative options, and expand possibilities before the shoot begins
- You stay curious about emerging creative technologies and thoughtfully integrate them into the studio workflow to raise the quality and consistency of our output
- You use AI to assist with asset tagging, organization, and search within our digital asset library, reducing time spent searching and improving cross-team access
How You Show Up
- You are a rational optimist — you see what's possible and move toward it, even when things get complicated
- You learn quickly and apply new knowledge without waiting to be told it's time to adapt
- You prioritize and keep things moving when plans change or timelines shift
- You catch issues before they become problems and take ownership of high-quality output at every stage
- You accomplish outcomes through influence and outstanding collaboration — without creating stress for yourself or others
- You know and understand the impact of our mission and the Life is Good Superpowers
- You are skilled and comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- You give and receive feedback thoughtfully and constructively
- You are known for having a positive impact on those around you

- You meet your goals and help your team meet theirs
- You are the go-to photographer for the brand — collaborating teams trust your output and rely on you to deliver
- Every image you produce is on-brand, on-time, and ready to publish — with minimal revision cycles
- The studio runs efficiently — equipment is maintained, files are organized, and the team can focus on creative work
- You are recognized as a cultural asset for the Brand Marketing team at Life is Good
