Job Description

The Sr Product Manager role defines and executes the RigCLOUD product strategy by translating customer needs, operational requirements, and market insights into scalable digital solutions. The Senior Product Manager acts as a strategic connector between customers, commercial teams, operations, and development — ensuring alignment between business objectives and product delivery. This position drives product differentiation, customer value, and revenue growth through data-driven decision-making and continuous innovation.

Responsibilities

Engineering Partnership & Agile Delivery

•  Translate market insights, customer feedback, and operational inputs into prioritized product initiatives.

•  Define, maintain, and communicate a comprehensive product roadmap aligned with customer needs, technology capabilities, and business priorities.

•  Facilitate product strategy discussions with leadership and stakeholders to ensure alignment on objectives and outcomes.

 

Customer Engagement & Technical Commercial Support

•  Serve as the subject matter expert in customer engagements, including product demonstrations, technical workshops, and solution discussions.

•  Support business development efforts by shaping solutions that meet customer requirements and align with product capabilities.

•  Lead customer-facing conversations during key opportunities and product adoption initiatives.

•  Enhance the overall customer experience across pre-sales, deployment, and support phases.

 

Market Intelligence & Competitive Analysis

 •  Research and analyze trends in rig instrumentation, drilling analytics, and adjacent digital technologies.

•  Evaluate competitor offerings and define strategies to differentiate RigCLOUD products.

•  Monitor customer sentiment and market changes to inform product direction and priorities.

 

Data, Analytics & Product Innovation

•  Integrate data analytics capabilities into RigCLOUD offerings to enhance decision-making and customer value.

•  Conduct user research, develop user personas, and map customer journeys to inform product design.

•  Perform usability testing and incorporate feedback into iterative product improvements.

•  Translate internal tools and analytical capabilities into scalable, customer-facing products.

Qualifications


•  Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Technology, or related field

•  6+ years of experience in product management, technology, or operations

•  Proven experience developing product roadmaps and driving product strategy

•  Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills

•  Experience working with data, analytics, or digital platforms

Preferred Qualification:

•  Experience with SaaS, IoT, or field-deployed technology platforms, particularly in industrial or energy sectors

•  Familiarity with oilfield or drilling operations, rig technology, or adjacent subsurface/completion workflows

•  Hands-on experience with agile delivery frameworks (Scrum, SAFe, or equivalent)

•  Experience conducting data mining, trend analysis, or business intelligence reporting

Spanish proficiency preferred 

•  Background in B2B enterprise software product management or technology commercialization
