The Platform Product team drives Solifi’s Open Finance Platform, enabling innovation and scalability across a portfolio of products used by secured finance customers worldwide. We partner closely with Design, Engineering, QA, Services, Marketing, Sales, and other product line teams to deliver modern SaaS solutions that improve customer outcomes. About the Position

We are looking for a highly analytical and technically strong Senior Product Owner / Associate Product Manager to join our Open Finance Platform team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of product, data, and engineering and enjoys driving execution for complex technical initiatives.

This role will primarily focus on tactical product ownership and delivery execution for our data platform roadmap, including data streaming and broader data platform capabilities. The successful candidate will work closely with Product Leadership, Engineering and Architecture to translate roadmap direction into actionable requirements, manage delivery execution, and help ensure initiatives move efficiently from concept through release. This is a hands-on role requiring strong organization, technical understanding, and the ability to manage complex backlogs and cross-team coordination.

Role and Responsibilities

Product Ownership & Delivery

Own and manage the backlog for data platform and data-related initiatives

Translate roadmap direction and high-level requirements into epics, features, and user stories

Partner closely with engineering teams during refinement, sprint planning, development, and testing

Define acceptance criteria and ensure stories are well-groomed and ready for delivery

Track delivery progress, dependencies, risks, and blockers across teams

Support release planning, prioritization, and delivery coordination

Help ensure solutions align with platform standards and architectural direction

Data Platform Support

Support delivery and execution for initiatives involving:

Data streaming and event-driven architecture

Kafka and real-time integrations

Data governance and operational visibility

Platform data capabilities

Cross-Functional Coordination

Work closely with engineering leads, architects, and product leadership to clarify requirements and technical approaches

Coordinate across multiple teams to manage dependencies and alignment

Facilitate discussions between technical and business stakeholders

Assist with documentation, operational processes, and rollout planning

Support internal stakeholder demos, status updates, and release communications

Analysis & Continuous Improvement

Help analyze platform usage, operational metrics, and delivery insights

Support identification of process improvements and operational efficiencies

Assist with technical discovery and documentation for new initiatives

Stay informed on modern data platform practices and technologies relevant to the team

About You

Required Experience

5+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Technical Business Analyst, Associate Product Manager, or similar role

Experience working on technical platform, integration, or data-focused initiatives

Strong Agile delivery experience working directly with engineering teams

Experience managing backlogs and coordinating cross-functional delivery

Ability to understand and discuss technical concepts with developers and architects

Technical Knowledge

Experience or familiarity with several of the following:

Data streaming technologies and event-driven systems

Kafka or similar messaging platforms

APIs and microservices architecture

Cloud-native applications and distributed systems

SQL and data concepts

Monitoring, observability, and operational metrics

Soft Skills

Strong organization and execution skills

Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination abilities

Detail-oriented with strong follow-through

Comfortable managing multiple initiatives simultaneously

Collaborative mindset with strong ownership and accountability

Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced technical environments

Preferred Qualifications

Experience within SaaS, fintech, or financial services organizations

Experience supporting enterprise-scale platform teams

Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and Agile product management practices

Experience working with globally distributed teams

Familiarity with Data lakes, analytics platforms, or data pipelines and AI/ML data enablement concepts
