The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to lead and manage large, cross-functional teams delivering complex Guidewire implementations across Property & Casualty insurance platforms. The role requires proven leadership across multiple Guidewire engagements, strong stakeholder management, and deep expertise in Agile and SAFe Agile delivery models.
The ideal candidate will have successfully driven end-to-end Guidewire programs—including PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter—across multi-vendor, geographically distributed teams, ensuring delivery excellence, quality, and business value.
Responsibilities
Lead large, complex Guidewire implementation programs from initiation through go-live and post-implementation support
Manage multiple concurrent Guidewire engagements, ensuring alignment with business objectives and delivery timelines
Oversee scope, schedule, budget, risk, and dependency management across workstreams
Drive governance, reporting, and executive-level communications
Provide leadership across Guidewire PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter, and related integrations
Partner with architecture, development, testing, and business teams to ensure solution integrity
Manage system integrators, vendors, and onshore/offshore delivery teams
Ensure adherence to Guidewire best practices, standards, and implementation frameworks
Lead and motivate large, multi-disciplinary teams (business, technology, vendors)
Serve as primary point of contact for senior business and IT stakeholders
Resolve conflicts, manage escalations, and drive decision-making at program level
Build strong client relationships and ensure high stakeholder satisfaction
Identify and mitigate delivery, technical, and operational risks
Ensure quality assurance, testing rigor, and readiness for go-live
Drive compliance with enterprise governance, security, and regulatory standards
What You Must Have
15+ years of experience in IT Program / Project Management
Minimum 8–10 years managing large-scale Guidewire implementations
Proven track record managing multiple Guidewire implementation engagements
Good exposure in Guidewire PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter
Extensive experience managing large teams (100+ resources across geographies preferred)
Deep understanding of Agile and SAFe Agile frameworks in enterprise environments
Experience working in P&C Insurance domain
Strong financial management, forecasting, and vendor management skills
