      • Lead the project team to maintain a clear perspective and focus on the project outcome, review performance and development of the team against position responsibilities and established goals.  
      • Manage and coach people to carry out our project objectives and to improve overall performance. Measure and analyze performance of our operational improvements and efforts.  
      • Help develop operational training programs and provide ongoing coaching to ensure alignment with training objectives.  
      • Mentor team and support management succession with the goal of identifying dedicated future managers and promoting their continued personal and professional education and growth. 

      QUALITY:

      • Ensure the production team has a comprehensive working knowledge and understanding of the contract documents (including Bildt’s contract, plans, specifications, and applicable codes).
      • Collaborate with the Quality Manager to ensure manufacturing processes meet the approved Quality Manual and regulatory requirements.
      • Ensure quality plans are followed and maintained throughout the life of the project or program.
      • Resolve issues related to plans, specifications and constraints or discrepancies.

      SCHEDULE: 

      • Be accountable for overall scheduling responsibilities; lead program scheduling, project milestone scheduling, procurement strategies, make work ready, and field installation work.
      • Support production planning, make work ready, daily management, and production tracking.
      • Support efforts to ensure adequate staffing, tools and equipment, and materials are available to meet manufacturing and on-site needs.
      • Support implementation of the Daily Management System by resolving issues to ensure continuous, as-planned workflow.
      • Facilitate coordination meetings with subcontractor trades, lead look-ahead planning sessions, and oversee submittal review processes to ensure alignment with project timelines and specifications.
      • Lead the supply chain procurement process to assure alignment with project landmarks. 
      • Lead meetings with appropriate stakeholders to coordinate design, manufacturing and construction efforts. 

      PRODUCTION: 

      • Collaborate with the Production Manager to establish the Production Plan.
      • Use production data and analytics to support decision-making, improve forecasting, identify efficiencies and areas for improvement, and drive overall operational excellence.
      • Coordinate procurement efforts with Production Manager.
      • Review historical production data and estimates to ensure competitive and accurate forecasting. 

      FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT: 

      • Support development and execution of contract documents.
      • Lead the project team to maintain a clear perspective and focus on the project outcome, review performance and development of the team against position responsibilities and established goals. Manage and coach people to carry out our project objectives and to improve overall performance.       • Manage project or program financials; maintain cost control (specifically with the risk and

      RISK: 

      • Prepare detailed contract items lists, including all significant items required for the fabrication and construction of the project. 
      • Develop trade scope of work documents for bid packages, major material, and equipment purchases.
      • Develop scopes of work and complete subcontracts and purchase orders.
      • Participate or lead the close-out process. Prepare final records such as close-out records, warranties, as-builts, operation and maintenance manuals, attic stock, and spare parts. Evaluate all information to ensure compliance with contract documents.
      • Support project risk management by identifying potential issues, analyzing impacts, developing response plans, and monitoring controls. Demonstrate proficiency in project control processes and take corrective action when needed to keep the project on track 

      SALES AND PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT: 

      • Support the sales team by managing requests for pursuit needs related to budget and schedule.
      • Support the DfMA team by managing requests for product development needs related to budget and schedule.
      • Participate in client-facing activities in support of securing work. 

      COMMUNICATION: 

      • Establish and maintain a relationship with the customer throughout the life of the project. 
      • Proactively manage and share information at appropriate levels at all times. 

      What we expect from you:

              • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management or relevant field required
              • An equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. 
              • Ten or more years of related experience.
              • Comprehensive expertise in construction manufacturing processes, encompassing operation and maintenance of specialized equipment, interpretation of technical drawings and production specifications, and knowledge of building materials with strict adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
              • Proven leadership ability to assume responsibility and build and foster effective collaboration across diverse teams.
              • Deep understanding of project delivery methodologies, including financial management, production planning, and lean process improvement techniques.
              • Innovative management skills to inspire, empower, and drive teams toward achieving strategic objectives.
              • Exceptional decision-making and problem-solving capabilities with a focus on operational excellence. 
              • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365 Office Suite for business productivity and collaboration.
              • Up to 30% travel.
              • A valid driver’s license may be required. Individuals in this role may be subject to an annual Motor Vehicle Records check. The outcome of any MVR checks conducted may negatively impact the persons’ ability to participate in any vehicle program provided by the company, including not limited to the ability to drive a personal vehicle on behalf of Bildt, LLC or rent a vehicle through for business travel purposes.  

              Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:  
              While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to position objects and operate tools or controls. Employee frequently uses computer keyboard. The employee is occasionally required to position self to maneuver in confined or awkward spaces. The employee regularly is required to remain in a stationary position and move to access people or machinery or workspaces. Employee is occasionally required to ascend and/or descend a ladder or stairs to reach work areas. The employee must regularly move up to 10 pounds and occasionally move up to 25 pounds. The employee is regularly required to travel (as vehicle driver and as passenger on various modes of transportation) and frequently performs work on-site at construction work sites. Specific abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Employee views computer monitor frequently. The employee is required to be able to effectively communicate while on the job site and throughout the completion of duties. 

              The working conditions of this positionrequires the employee to work both inside and outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/aridconditions. Frequently required to use personal protective equipment to maintain safety and prevent exposure to harmful materials. The environment for which this position functions may be exposed to prolonged loud noises and may contain scents and fragrances. May be requested to work overtime and weekends.

               The anticipated salary range for this position is $117,000- $156,193 per year. This range represent what The Boldt Company reasonably expect to pay for this position, but the actual compensation offered will be dependent upon numerous job-related factors, including but not limited to candidate qualifications, skills, experience, education, location, alignment with market data and internal equity as well as other business and organizational needs. Our expectation is that the incumbent will work in Appleton, Wi. If the incumbent works out of a different location, the anticipated salary range is subject to change.
