About the Role
The Sales Operations Manager will optimize and support our sales and recruitment funnel. This individual will play a critical role in launching pilot initiatives, streamlining our sales processes, and improving the quality and efficiency of tutor recruitment—both from our existing base and new sourcing channels.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Funnel Optimization
- Analyze and continuously improve our new sales funnel—from lead generation to closing.
- Implement scalable systems and processes to support sales team performance and client conversion rates.
- Identify bottlenecks in the funnel and recommend actionable solutions.
- Support CRM data accuracy and reporting to ensure timely and informed decision-making.
Lead Generation Team Management
- Build and lead the Lead Generation Associates Team, responsible for sourcing and qualifying potential clients.
- Recruit, train, and onboard new associates with a structured ramp-up plan and clear performance targets.
- Set KPIs, monitor daily activity, and coach the team for continuous improvement in lead quality and output.
- Implement outreach cadences, scripts, and tools to support effective prospecting and nurturing.
- Collaborate closely with sales and marketing to align messaging and targeting strategies.
Recruitment Funnel Ownership
- Work with the recruitment team to recruit high-quality tutors from both existing pools and new channels.
- Collaborate with marketing and recruitment teams to build campaigns that attract the right tutor profiles.
- Work closely with the recruitment team to build and optimize workflows for onboarding, retention, and redeployment.
- Monitor recruitment KPIs and create actionable reports for leadership.
Pilot Launch Management
- Drive the successful rollout of pilot programs—ensuring alignment between sales, operations, and recruitment teams.
- Manage the end-to-end coordination of pilot launches: staffing, timelines, communications, and feedback loops.
- Ensure pilot goals and metrics are clearly defined and reported on.
General Sales Operations
- Own sales ops reporting, analytics, and performance dashboards.
- Assist with quota setting, sales forecasting, and territory planning.
- Collaborate with finance, product, and marketing to ensure alignment on pipeline and revenue goals.
- Maintain and improve CRM and sales enablement tools.
- Develop playbooks, training materials, and onboarding processes for sales and lead gen roles.
Qualifications:
- A degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Proven track record of at least 2-3 years in B2B operations sales role.
- Stellar communication, negotiation, and presentation skills to engage clients and internal teams effectively.
- Master of Multitasking: You're independent, prioritizing tasks with finesse.
- Passion for education and the drive to impact the educational community for the better
- Familiarity with CRM is a must.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Willingness to make sales calls during evenings due to the majority of our clients being located outside the Philippines.
Work Set-up and Requirements
- Schedule: Shifting schedule, including morning, mid, and night shifts. We require candidates who can demonstrate flexibility and adapt to schedule changes as needed for urgent situations or business requirements.
- Workdays: Five-day workweek with two rest days.
- Location: Fully remote
- Desktop/laptop with Intel i5 (10th gen), 8GB RAM or higher
- Minimum 25 Mbps internet speed with backup connection
- Backup power supply for at least 8 hours
