We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Application Engineer to join our team. This is a software‑centric role operating at the intersection of hardware and software, with a strong focus on advanced PC audio and haptics systems and end‑to‑end customer solutions.
As a senior member of the team, you will act as a key technical leader, working closely with system engineers, application software, firmware, and driver developers, along with hardware and test teams, to resolve complex customer issues and influence cross‑functional technical direction. This role requires a strong sense of urgency, consistently delivering fast turnaround and high‑quality resolutions to customer problems in order to maintain exceptional customer satisfaction. You will also help identify trends, shape processes, and provide system‑level insight across the full audio and haptics solution stack. The ideal candidate is a clear and confident communicator with deep technical judgment and ownership.
ResponsibilitiesLead the technical investigation and resolution of complex customer‑reported software and system‑level issues Using tools such as debuggers, logic analyzers, oscilloscopes provide analysis and root causes of customer issuesServe as a primary technical interface between customers and internal engineering teamsClearly and effectively communicate complex technical concepts to cross‑functional and non‑technical stakeholdersDrive cross‑functional teams toward root cause analysis and sustainable solutionsCollaborate with global engineering teams to accelerate issue resolution and product improvementIdentify trends, gaps, and opportunities to improve product quality, tools, and processesInfluence product and platform decisions by providing real‑world customer and system‑level insightsMinimum Skills and QualificationsBachelor’s degree in: Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field5+ years of relevant professional experience (3+ with Master’s Degree)Excellent verbal and written communication skillsDemonstrated ability to distill complex technical issues into clear, actionable guidanceStrong experience with consumer product development spanning both software and hardwareProven track record of technical ownership, problem solving, and delivering high‑quality results on schedulePreferred Skills and QualificationsMaster’s degree in: Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field7+ years of relevant industry experienceProficiency in at least one of the following languages (C, C++, Python, PowerShell)Strong experience within the PC ecosystemSolid working knowledge of Windows drivers and OS‑level subsystemsExperience with audio subsystems and end‑to‑end audio architecturesExtensive experience working with and leading efforts across globally distributed teamsApplicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time.
