Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Java Developer to lead the design, development, and deployment of enterprise-grade Java applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java technologies, microservices architecture, cloud platforms, and modern software development practices. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of Java-based applications.
  • Collaborate with product managers, business stakeholders, architects, and designers to define project requirements and technical specifications.
  • Develop clean, maintainable, efficient, and high-quality code following industry best practices.
  • Conduct code reviews and mentor team members to ensure coding standards and quality guidelines are maintained.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve complex technical issues across applications and environments.
  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support automated build, testing, and deployment processes.
  • Ensure application scalability, performance, reliability, and security.
  • Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to key technical decisions.
  • Develop and maintain RESTful APIs, web services, and microservices-based solutions.
  • Work with DevOps and infrastructure teams to support containerized and cloud-native deployments.
  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices to drive continuous improvement.

  • Proven hands-on experience in Java application development with a strong software engineering background.

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $82,082 to $193,440

Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.

The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.

These may include, but are not limited to: Geographic location, Education and qualifications, Certifications and licenses, Relevant experience and skills, Seniority and performance, Market and business consideration, Internal pay equity.

It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range.

In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
