Job Description
We are looking for a seasoned Technical Architect to lead the evolution of our comprehensive Agriculture management platform. You will bridge the gap between complex legacy systems (WinForms/Crystal Reports) and modern mobile/web ecosystems (React/Swift/Kotlin). This role requires a visionary who can navigate deep technical debt while architecting scalable, future-proof solutions for the global agricultural sector.
Key Responsibilities
- System Architecture: Design and oversee a hybrid architecture that integrates legacy .NET WinForms applications with modern React web portals and native Swift/Kotlin mobile apps.
- Modernization Roadmap: Lead the transition of on-premise reporting and desktop tools into cloud-native microservices.
- Technical Leadership: Act as the final authority on architectural decisions, ensuring code quality, security, and performance across the full stack.
- Project Management: Oversee the end-to-end SDLC, managing timelines, resource allocation, and risk mitigation for high-stakes releases.
- Customer Interaction: Consult directly with stakeholders and agricultural enterprise clients to translate complex business needs into technical specifications.
- Mentorship: Guide senior engineering teams, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.
Technical Requirements
- Backend: Master-level proficiency in C# and the .NET ecosystem (Core/6+).
- Frontend & Mobile: Proven experience architecting applications using React (Web) and native mobile development (Swift for iOS, Kotlin for Android).
- Legacy Systems: Extensive experience maintaining and migrating WinForms applications and Crystal Reports.
- Data & Integration: Deep knowledge of SQL Server, API design (REST/GraphQL), and offline-sync capabilities for rural connectivity.
- Management: Strong background in Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management tools.
Qualifications
- 20+ years of progressive experience in software engineering and architecture.
- Prior experience in AgriTech, Supply Chain, or Industrial IoT is highly preferred.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical executive audiences.
