Summary of Position: Responsible for serving food and/or beverages in a timely, friendly and efficient manner in the company’s continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service.

 

● Accurately take orders from guests, submit to kitchen using Point-of-Sales (POS) software, deliver food and drinks, bus tables or assist busser/runner

● Knowledge of restaurant and bar menu promotions and specials

● In an honest and timely manner, prepare checks, process credit cards, accept and make accurate change for cash payments

● Ensure alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages are served in accordance with Federal, State, Local regulations and Company procedures

● Provide timely, courteous service to all guests throughout the meal service

● Set tables, polish glasses, prepare workstations and other side work as assigned

● Accurately prepare sales and tip reports at shift’s end, deposit cash and credit card receipts

● Understand Company ISO (Environmental & Quality) management systems, Health and Safety standards, policies, goals and initiatives and meet the specific responsibilities within these areas

● Complete other front of house duties such as host, and busser- food runner as needed to meet business requirements

● Other duties per Duties Checklist and as requested

Position Requirements:

● Obtain ServSafe Certification in accordance with Company F&B policy

● Excellent customer service and people skills

● Must be able to work a variety of day, night, weekend, holiday shifts

● Must have excellent communication skills and be able to count change and reconcile paperwork

● Majority of shift will be spent on feet in a fast-paced environment, in close proximity to other people

 

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience: Minimum (1) year in a restaurant establishment Resort/National Park Concession preferred
