What You'll Do
As a Service Advisor, you'll serve as the communication hub between customers, technicians, and management.
Customer Service Excellence
- Serve as the primary contact for customers regarding equipment service and repairs.
- Build strong customer relationships through responsive communication and problem resolution.
- Provide updates on repair status, timelines, and unexpected findings.
Service Operations
- Accurately document customer concerns and repair requests.
- Open, maintain, and close repair orders in a timely and accurate manner.
- Collect purchase orders, warranty information, and customer payment details.
- Ensure all service documentation is complete and properly processed.
Shop Coordination
- Work closely with the Service Manager and technicians to prioritize workflow.
- Coordinate shop schedules and monitor repair progress.
- Ensure repairs are completed on time and according to customer expectations.
- Communicate delays and recommend additional repair needs when identified.
Administrative & Technical Support
- Manage a high volume of customer calls and service inquiries.
- Maintain accurate records and customer information.
- Utilize dealership software systems and Microsoft Office applications effectively.
- Support operational efficiency through attention to detail and process compliance.
