The Service Advisor is responsible for:
- Outstanding customer service!
- Build trust and respect with customers, listen and repeat back
- Use active listening to engage and understand their vehicle issues and concerns
- Create repair orders and clearly communicate vehicle needs to service technicians
- Communicate vehicle diagnoses and maintenance needs to customers and ability to advise and sell needed work
- Follow up, keeping customer updated on their vehicles throughout the repair process
- Interact with customers, vendors, and technicians in a professional manner at all times
- Maintain a clean, safe, and professional Service Lane and Lounge
- Answer phones promptly throughout the day
- Be helpful & accommodating (scheduling and transportation)
- Prominently display current promotions
- Greet customers promptly and enthusiastically at their vehicle
Qualifications
- Experience advising automotive service customers and developing relationships with new and existing customers required.
- Dealertrack experience very helpful.
