Job Description

Job Summary: 

 

As a Service Business Development Center Team Lead, you will be responsible for helping grow our customer connection through inbound and outbound communication. Creating and maintaining procedures to ensure maximum outreach. Answering a variety of questions from customers and employees while maintaining the highest level of professionalism and customer service. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

    • Answer inbound service phone calls and schedule appointments. 

    • Outbound calls to customers in relation to maintenance, service, recalls, etc. 

    • Assist the BDC Manager to grow the service BDC to a thriving and supportive team for the Service Department. 

    • Assist the BDC Manager to build Service BDC processes and continuously work on procedure improvements. 

    • Work closely with the Dealership teams to maintain seamless communication from customers to Advisors, Parts, Sales, and Management. 

    • Work in multiple systems and CRM tools to provide accurate information to our customers and staff. 

    • Learn a wide variety of automotive knowledge to assist customers and employees. 

    • Work as a team lead to create a positive environment and support the employees. 

 

Qualifications: 

    • Experienced in Microsoft Office 

    • Strong written communication and typing skills 

    • Excellent verbal communication 

    • Be able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment 

    • The passion to pursue knowledge and understanding. 

    • Be able to give and take constructive feedback 

    • Excellent attendance, dependability, and punctuality 

 

Experience: 

    • At least one previous role in a customer service environment. 

    • At least one previous role answering phone calls. 

    • Dealership or BDC experience strongly encouraged 

    • Automotive knowledge a huge plus 

    • Employee supervising experience preferred
