    • Hourly Compensation: $22.00 - $23.00 Depending on Experience

Position Overview: The Service Line Specialist is responsible for managing the registration and screening process for patients or clients seeking or being referred to TMS, IOP, and Psych Testing Services and other service lines as needed. The Service Line Specialist plays an integral role in assessing the referring provider and patients' needs, accurately documenting patient information, and appropriately scheduling appointments with providers based on intake assessments and provider matrix.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Handles incoming and outgoing calls related to TMS, IOP and Psych Testing and facilitates positive patient experience as well as positive referring provider experience.
  • Performs comprehensive chart reviews and research to accurately route internally referred, provider referred or self-referred patients for the appropriate services.
  • Ensures comprehensive demographic and health information is entered into the electronic health record system.
  • Verifies patient eligibility, insurance benefits, prior authorization criteria, and out of pocket costs for services and treatment.
  • Schedules TMS, IOP and Psych Testing appointments based on intake assessments and provider matrix.
  • Engages in outreach activities, which may include responding to emails, follow up calls to patients, payors, military contacts and providers related to TMS services or treatment.
  • Provides excellent customer service including supporting patients, families, internal and external providers and patients.
  • Meets established TMS, IOP and Psych Testing Operations metrics and quality goals.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associates degree in Health Administration or related field preferred
  • Two years customer service or call center experience, including six months prior FCC Referral Specialist experience, required.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, medical insurance or medical billing preferred. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite required.
  • Continually required to sit. Continually required to utilize hand and finger dexterity. Continually required to talk or hear. While performing the duties of this job, the noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud. The employee will occasionally lift and/or move more than 15 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
