What You’ll Do
- Lead daily operations of the Service Department with a focus on efficiency, customer satisfaction, and profitability
- Inspire, coach, and develop Service Advisors, Technicians, Porters, and support staff
- Drive performance across key fixed operations metrics including CSI, ELR, technician productivity, proficiency, labor sales, and retention
- Create an organized, high-performing service environment with strong communication and teamwork
- Oversee workflow, shop capacity, dispatch, and repair quality to improve turnaround times and customer experience
- Support loaner operations and customer transportation processes to ensure a seamless ownership experience
- Partner closely with Parts, Sales, and dealership leadership to strengthen customer retention and long-term business growth
- Maintain compliance with manufacturer standards and dealership operating expectations
- Foster a culture built on professionalism, urgency, and delivering service customers can trust
What We’re Looking For
- Demonstrated success leading an automotive service department with responsibility for team performance, customer experience, and operational results
- Previous experience managing Service Advisors, Technicians, workflow, and fixed operations metrics preferred
- Strong understanding of dealership service operations and performance drivers
- CDJR experience strongly preferred; domestic brand or high-volume service leadership experience highly valued
- Customer-focused mindset with strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to motivate teams while maintaining operational excellence
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- Flexibility to support business needs, including occasional evenings and weekends
