The creation of the HHC System Support Office recognizes the work of a large and growing group of employees whose responsibilities are continually evolving so that we and our departments now work on behalf of the system as a whole, rather than a single member organization.
With the creation of our new umbrella organization we now have our own identity with a unique payroll, benefits, performance management system, service recognition programs and other common practices across the system.


Job Summary:

• Performs analysis and reporting regarding financial operations and
  information.

Responsibilities:

• Performs statistical, cost and financial analysis of data extracted from various
  internal sources. Prepares reports based on findings, including health care
  costs, provider contracts, debt capacity, revenue and profitability.
• Assists with budget preparation and financial planning processes. Assists with
  budget review for compliance and identification of cost-saving opportunities.
• Serves as consultant to all levels of management to provide decision support
  for initiatives, policies and procedures.
• Performs special projects and duties as assigned, including research,
  forecasting and exploring viable alternatives.
• Develops recovery plan in coordination with function lead and service line
  managers in the event a department is under-performing against budget
  targets.
• Proactively seeks out, identifies and analyzes data trends as well as proposes
  recommendations to improve service line performance.
• Develops profit & loss reports for current and proposed lines of business with
  assigned areas.
• Uses a variety of information applications and databases to develop schedules
  and special reports.
• Other Duties as assigned

Education:
• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Hospital
Administration, or a closely related field. Knowledge of general principles and
practices of financial management in the health care field, including both
expense and reimbursement requirements and management preferred.

Work Experience:

• 3 years financial analysis.
