Job Description

Pride Motor Group is seeking a Service Valet/Porter for our Chevrolet Dealership on the Lynnway in Lynn. We are looking for an energetic, people-focused individual who will bring efficiency to the car-service process and make the experience for our customers smooth and seamless.

Responsibilities:

  • Promptly and professionally greets all customers upon arrival and introduces them to a Service Advisor
  • Directs customers to maintain a proper flow through the service lane
  • Performs appropriate check in and check out procedures for all service vehicles
  • Performs alignment checks, battery checks, and vacuums the interiors of all vehicles when entering the drive
  • Retrieves customer vehicles from the parking lot while they are paying for service and removes seat and floor covers
  • Removes vehicles out of service drive and moves to designated parking areas
  • Pick-up & delivery of customer vehicles
  • Ensures service drive and parking area are clean, neat and free of any debris or trash
  • Assists with snow removal from dealership lot as needed
  • Exhibits a strong focus on vehicle safety at all times
  • Follows all company safety policies and procedures and immediately reports any and all accidents to a manager
  • Performs additional tasks as may be assigned

Qualifications:

  • Possesses excellent customer service skills
  • Demonstrates professionalism, collaboration and a positive attitude in all interactions with customers, co-workers and vendors
  • Completes assignments in a timely manner
  • Able to prioritize tasks and escalate issues or questions to appropriate managers or team members
  • Reports any situation or condition that would jeopardize the safety, welfare, or integrity of the dealership, its customers or employees to management
  • Maintains a professional appearance
  • Is team-oriented with a desire to achieve both individual and collective goals
  • Holds a valid driver’s license and has a clean driving record.
