Position and Responsibilities

 

As a member of the maintenance team, you will perform layout, assembly, fabrication, maintenance and repairs of process piping/plumbing, structural steel and emergency response in a continuous processing facility.  You will join a team composed of different trades supporting our 24/7 uranium production facility, trained in emergency response (Emergency Response Team – ERT).

 

The starting hourly rate for this position is $50.03 along with competitive benefits and retirement savings.  Upon completion of all training, the rate increases to $55.58. 

 

Requirements of the position:

  • C of Q as a steamfitter 
  • Achieve NFPA 600 Firefighting Certification
  • Achieve NFPA 472 Operations and Technicians Certification
  • Physically capable of performing assigned duties
  • Able to work a continental shift
  • Possesses required trade related hand tools
  • Demonstrated work performance that is consistent with a team environment
  • Self-starter able to work with minimal supervision
  • Strong commitment to health, safety and environment
  • Clear background check

Assets:

  • Backflow preventer certification
  • Experience gained within a chemical plant
