Description
Under general supervision of ACS corporate management, specifically reporting to the Shipping Lead. This position will assist with the direction and coordination of all activities for preparation to ship capital projects.
Requirements
Duties and Responsibilities
· Proficient in using hand tools like tape measures, table saws, and nail guns to build crates, pallets, and skids for large equipment.
· Process and package orders accurately and in a timely manner.
· Inspect and report on any signs of damage or discrepancies in shipment materials.
· Operate heavy machinery, such as a forklift, and overhead crane to move large and heavy inventory.
· Practice safety standards, and good housekeeping.
· Operate equipment to safely load trucks, flatbeds, vans, and any other transportation type.
· Maintenance and operation of palletizing, de-palletizing, material handling, stretch wrap, banding, and other packaging equipment.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
Experience working in large equipment manufacturing and assembly environment (required).
· Forklift experience, license, and overhead crane experience (preferred).
· Physical strength and stamina.
High school diploma or equivalent.
