Palmetto Primary Care Physicians (PPCP) is seeking a highly organized and motivated Site Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our medical practice. This role is responsible for supervising employees, ensuring efficient clinic operations, supporting providers, and maintaining excellent patient service standards.  The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, healthcare experience, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that rules/policies are followed by every employee.
  • Oversee practice budget and ensure there are no problems with the budget.
  • Oversee the accounting for the practice in conjunction with the CFO.
  • Make sure practice has adequate staff to perform its duties efficiently.
  • Ensure smooth running of the practice, which includes checking on the staff, supplies, and any other problem which can affect the smooth running of the establishment.
  • Hiring and training of staff
  • Timekeeping (approving employees time each pay period, managing time off requests, etc.)
  • Ensure the practice stays well within medical guidelines, ethics, and laws.
  • Oversee patient satisfaction and communicate with the patients in case of complaints.
  • Ensure all records of facility are maintained properly and are up to date.
  • Take Direction and initiate actions (cross/additional training) that will allow the assumption of cross-functional duties to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Consistently demonstrate ability to respond to changing situations in a flexible manner in order to meet current needs, such as reprioritizing work as necessary. Minimize non-productive time and fill slow periods with activities that will enable you to prepare to meet the future needs of the System (education, organizing, housekeeping, and assisting others). Organize job functions and work area to be able to effectively complete varied assignments within established time frames.
  • Maintains a cooperative relationship among health care teams by communicating information; responding to requests; building rapport; participating in team problem-solving methods.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Educational/ Experience Requirements:
Minimum of two-year associate degree in medical office administration from an accredited school preferred. Minimum of one year of supervisory
experience.
Other Requirements:
Planning and organizational skills, well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, professional appearance and manner, computer literacy, ability to manage staff.
