SUMMARY
A slot attendant is a key customer service provider on the casino floor. They service and build relationships with our players, pay hand-pay jackpots and perform minor repairs on slot machines.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for making change for guests on the floor.
- Instructing guests in playing games, & fixing minor paper and coin jams.
- Rendering of hand pays and Jackpots to guests.
- All other duties as assigned.
REPORTING LINE
You will report directly to the Slot Shift Manager then to the Slot Performance Manager.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
- Must have excellent communication skills, be polite, and present a neat appearance at all times.
- The ability to work with others as a team in an efficient manner.
- You will need to be available to work all shifts.
- The ability to work in a fast –paced environment.
- You must be at least 21 years old.
- You must be able to obtain a VLT Floor Attendant License through the WV Lottery.
- You also must be able to pass a background investigation and obtain and maintain a WV Racing License.
- Must take two-hour training class for all Video Lottery terminals and become knowledgeable about how to play all games offered here.
EDUCATIONAL AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Must be able to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time. The ability to push, pull, reach, kneel, twist, grasp, carry and lift up to 25 lbs.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Will be exposed to working in a noisy, smoke/secondary smoke environment and seasonal elements.
