Summary:

The Small Business Relationship Manager develops and manages banking relationships with small business members, driving portfolio growth through new business acquisition, relationship expansion, and delivery of tailored financial solutions

 

 

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelors Degree or a minimum of eight years directly related experience required
  • Minimum five years’ experience in financial services required
  • Minimum two years small business banking or business development experience in financial services required
  • Member-facing banking experience required
  • Notary Public license required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Bilingual preferred
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and effective working relationships with all stakeholders, both internal and external

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for member retention, satisfaction, and ensuring exceptional service delivery
  • Communicates with business members regarding their accounts, address issues related to their relationship, and conduct site visits as needed
  • Engages with existing and prospective members to understand financial needs and recommend products and services that support their business life cycle
  • Acts as a sales coach and partner with assigned branches; collaborate with the Branch Manager and participate in regular branch sales meetings
  • Develops and maintain strong relationships with internal and external referral sources
  • Partners with credit union teams and member-facing staff to maximize efforts in existing and emerging markets to achieve growth goals
  • Serves as a trusted point of contact and advocate for members, resolving issues and providing product guidance
  • Maintains deep knowledge of product offerings and coordinate with other departments to deliver or cross-sell services
  • Monitors and manage the assigned portfolio to maintain an appropriate risk profile
  • Adheres to all regulatory requirements and organizational policies and procedures
  • Participates in networking, outside sales activities, and cold-calling efforts as appropriate
  • Performs other duties as needed upon request by immediate supervisor

The good faith range for this position is $93,042 - $116,303. This range is an estimate, based on potential employee qualifications and operational needs. The salary may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by applicable law.
