The Team 
The Commercial Excellence CoE is a pivotal function within A&M’s broader Performance Improvement practice, serving as the GCC-based hub for projects involving Revenue and Pricing optimization, Sales effectiveness, Market Sizing, Growth Analytics, Customer Profitability, Cost to Serve, Commercial Diagnostics and strategy support across B2B and B2C businesses

Our team plays a critical role in consolidating and scaling A&M’s Commercial Excellence capabilities bringing analytical rigor, commercial insight, and operational know-how to help clients unlock measurable improvement in revenue and margin performance. As part of our firm’s continued investment in building out a full-spectrum Commercial Excellence offering, the CoE acts as a capability enabler and innovation engine service client projects, developing reusable methodologies, diagnostic tools, and accelerators that support commercial transformation initiatives across industries and markets

We’re looking for an Associate Director to join our Commercial Excellence Center of Excellence. This individual will play a leadership role in developing Commercial Excellence capabilities, supporting client engagements, shaping intellectual property, and building scalable analytics-driven solutions across pricing, sales effectiveness, growth analytics, profitability, and commercial diagnostics. Given the data-driven nature of our work, comfort with data analytics tools and procedures (such as Excel, Power BI, Alteryx, or Python) is critical. This is a high-visibility opportunity to help shape a key strategic offering within A&M’s Commercial Excellence portfolio offering exposure to global teams, dynamic problem-solving environments, and measurable client impact.
 
How you will contribute

As a member of the Commercial Excellence Team as an Associate Director, you will:

Lead Client Delivery

  • Lead and oversee Commercial Excellence engagements across pricing, sales effectiveness, growth analytics, profitability, and commercial diagnostics, ensuring high-quality delivery and analytical rigor.

  • Drive high-quality delivery through effective work allocation, quality reviews, performance monitoring, and SLA adherence.

  • Translate complex analyses into actionable business recommendations that drive revenue growth and margin improvement.

Build Commercial Excellence Capabilities and Analytics Excellence

  • Shape future Commercial Excellence offerings by developing methodologies, diagnostics, playbooks, and reusable delivery assets.

  • Drive innovation and advanced analytical problem solving across Commercial Excellence domains through the use of analytics, AI, automation, and scalable methodologies leveraging tools such as Excel, Power BI, Alteryx, Python, SQL, and other analytical tools

Lead and Develop Teams

  • Lead and manage the India based Commercial Excellence COE team, serving as a point of contact for global stakeholders.

  • Mentor, coach, and develop team members through performance management, feedback, and career development initiatives.

  • Foster a high-performance culture focused on quality, continuous improvement, collaboration, and client impact.

  • Develop onboarding, training, process documentation, playbooks, and knowledge management assets to support capability building and team scalability

Support Growth & Stakeholder Management

  • Partner with global stakeholders and GCC leadership to ensure successful project delivery and achievement of business objectives.

  • Support business development activities through proposal development, project case studies, thought leadership, and solution presentations

Qualifications 
  • 9–14 years of experience leading Commercial Excellence, Pricing & Revenue Optimization, B2B Services Pricing, Growth Strategy, Sales Effectiveness, Market Sizing and opportunity assessment, Customer Profitability, Cost-to-Serve, Commercial Diagnostics, or Performance Improvement engagements within a consulting environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex analyses into clear, actionable insights and compelling business narratives.
  • Demonstrated experience building or scaling capabilities, teams, methodologies, offerings, or Centers of Excellence is preferred
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical thinking, project management, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to collaborate effectively across commercial, finance, product, and leadership teams.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, Power BI, Alteryx, SQL, Python, and other analytical tools, with the ability to work with large, complex datasets.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to establish credibility and influence senior stakeholders and clients.
  • Proven experience leading offshore, cross-functional, or global delivery teams, preferably within a Center of Excellence (CoE) or shared services environment.
  • High attention to detail with demonstrated expertise in data manipulation, validation, quality assurance, and insight generation.
  • Strong team player with experience working effectively in matrixed and global organizations.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and eager to learn, with a strong commitment to continuous professional growth.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or a related field; MBA or relevant certifications are a plus
