POSITION SUMMARY: The Social Media & Marketing Manager supports the restaurant marketing needs of Dickie Brennan &

Company. Responsibilities include graphic design, creating content, social media, web/online marketing, promotions, and events.

The Social Media & Marketing Manager will be responsible for 10 dynamic restaurants & properties (

Bourbon House, Tableau, The Commissary Market, Bellegarde Bakery,

Pascal's Manale, Audubon Clubhouse, The Josephine on Napoleon, Dickie Brennan & Co. Catering Events at Audubon Institute) to achieve

strategic sales, marketing and social media objectives of the restaurants as set by the Director of Sales & Marketing.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Manage social media marketing campaigns and day-to-day activities

Responsible for creating regular, engaging content on all social media channels

Maintain and manage messaging (visual and written messaging) of this established brand

Responsible for monthly reporting on all social media channels

Strong marketing knowledge including digital, social, SEM, SEO, direct mail, print, broadcast and CRM

Maintain and evolve company websites keeping in mind the latest tactics for SEO

Proficient with Google analytics and web analysis tools

Proficient with Facebook / Instagram analytics and advertising tools

Create & issue monthly HTML electronic newsletters to be sent to database of guests for each restaurant

Produce collateral, including, but not limited to print ads, menu layout, digital ads, social media ads, signage

Assist with food and restaurant photography

Organize & maintain the existing archive of promotional images

Develop new online content - Employee profiles, Vendor features, Video content

Manage integrations with all internal platforms: Toast, OpenTable, TripleSeat, Bento Box, Wix, Go Daddy, Adentro,

Mailchimp, Eventbrite, Squarespace etc.

Assist General Mangers/Operations Team with customer relationship/reputation management

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop Social Media campaigns, with clear messages to the target accounts, markets, or segments

Analyze success of online campaigns through Google Analytics

Manage projects and deadlines for assigned jobs as well as post analysis

Manage the monitoring and coordination of all databases

Identify and solicit new digital and social media channels and opportunities on behalf of Dickie Brennan & Company

Analyze current market conditions and competitor information to determine focus of sales and marketing efforts and meet

changing market and competitive conditions

Establish and maintain relationships with industry influencers, key strategic partners, and customer base

Build and grow relationships with guests through social media (Facebook, IG, e-newsletters, website, company blog, etc.)

Monitor trends in social media and stay up to date with overall social media platforms

Play a key role in the design, implementation and facilitation of the Social Media strategy and plans

Perform related work and other duties that may be necessary in the normal course of business

Assist with marketing events & special projects as directed (may be for other departments)
REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum of two years of experience in the Restaurant or Hospitality Industry using social media in a marketing role or agency

Superb written and verbal communication and presentation skills

Ability to organize and convert key information into clear, concise, and informative written documents

Meticulous organizational skills

Project management skills

High proficiency in communication and information software

Excellent ability to integrate ideas

Self-managed

Team spirit and strong service / support capability

Skillful in working on multiple projects simultaneously

Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, and related computer programs.

Solid food background and/or a passion for food and fine dining with a strong knowledge of the local market

Demonstrates the ability to anticipate and solve problems and issues

Demonstrate in-depth marketing, leadership, and financial principles

Strong organizational, multi-tasking, time management, follow-up, and analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy

Working knowledge of the daily operations of a professional office, and standard office equipment

Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment with a customer service orientation

Work efficiently with minimal supervision and complete required tasks within assigned timeframe

Strong professional presence. Must present a well-groomed appearance

As part of the hospitality industry, key team members such as the Marketing Manager should be available to work flexible

hours to accomplish their mission and marketing activities. Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays when

necessary

Access to own, reliable transportation is required

Manual dexterity is essential. Must possess finger dexterity to use office equipment adeptly

Must be able to sit, stand and/or walk for extended periods of time. Frequent visits to the restaurant locations necessary

Must be able to maneuver in an office, through restaurants and at outside functions. Lifting and/or carrying of up to 25

pounds for files, supplies, and promotional materials on occasion.
