Position Overview
The Software Developer modernizes TRDM's legacy SOA web services into containerized, cloud-native services. Works in an Agile/SAFe environment. Off-site permitted for unclassified work.Key Responsibilities
- Refactor legacy Java SOA web services into containerized cloud-native applications
- Develop new REST APIs to replace legacy SOAP/WSDL endpoints where appropriate
- Implement and test interface changes
- Address Fortify SAST findings
- Maintain code in Subversion / Git repositories
- Document interfaces per IDD and IRDD requirements
Required Qualifications
- Active SECRET clearance
- US Citizen
- Bachelor's degree
- DoD 8570 IAT-II
- 5+ years software development, 3+ years Java enterprise
- Web services experience (REST, SOAP, WSDL, XML)
Preferred Qualifications
- AWS Developer
- Docker/Kubernetes
- Agile/SAFe
- Prior DoD IT or USTRANSCOM experience
