Lead the design and implementation of scalable data architecture and pipelines for a full-stack platform (React + Python), ensuring seamless integration between ETL processes, backend services, and frontend data consumption.
Responsibilities
- Design and own end-to-end data architecture (ETL → API → UI)
- Build and optimize scalable ETL/data pipelines
- Define data models, contracts, and governance standards
- Collaborate with frontend (React) and backend (Python) teams to enable efficient data consumption
- Implement data quality, validation, and monitoring frameworks
- Ensure performance, scalability, and cost efficiency of data systems
- Establish CI/CD practices for data pipelines
- Mentor engineers and drive best practices in data engineering
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field
- 15+ years of experience in software/data engineering, with 5+ years in technical leadership roles
- Strong expertise in data architecture, ETL/ELT pipelines, data modeling, and scalable data platforms
- Experience integrating data pipelines with backend services and frontend applications in full-stack environments
- Strong hands-on experience with Python, APIs, cloud data platforms, CI/CD, and data quality/monitoring frameworks
- Proven leadership experience in mentoring engineers, driving standards, and delivering enterprise-scale engineering solutions
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in a relevant field
- Experience with React-based platforms, Azure data ecosystem, data governance, and platform modernization
- Experience in global delivery or consulting-led engineering environments
