  • Create detailed AWS architecture diagrams and supporting documentation for networking, IAM, automation, data flows, and system boundaries.
  • Apply DoDAF and Modular Open Systems Architecture (MOSA) principles to system and enterprise‑level designs.
  • Support the system engineering lifecycle, including analysis of alternatives (AoAs), proofs of concept (PoCs), and operational pilot activities.
  • Work directly with government customers to gather requirements, identify challenges, and provide expert cloud guidance as a trusted advisor.
  • Support Authorization to Operate (ATO) documentation and RMF‑aligned architectural artifacts.
  • Identify issues in existing AWS environments and recommend improvements for performance, security, and cost optimization.
  • Assist in transitioning legacy applications and workloads into AWS cloud environments.
  • Collaborate with DevSecOps, cybersecurity, and engineering teams to ensure architectural consistency and compliance.
  • Apply emerging knowledge of AI/ML technologies to support future architectural planning and modernization efforts.
  • Collaborate with government stakeholders, cloud engineers, cybersecurity teams, and program leadership.
