PROGRAM DESCRIPTION The Enterprise IT (EIT) Directorate oversees the strategic vision and implementation plan for IT systems and solutions for the enterprise at Leidos Biomedical Research, providing operational information and data systems support to Frederick National Laboratory for Cancer Research (FNLCR). The EIT Project Management Office (PMO) is responsible for successful IT project execution across the FNLCR enterprise. Responsibilities include ensuring success through the full project and product life cycle using the NCI at Frederick governance process, ensuring compliance with Leidos Biomed and NCI project management standards, and managing EIT policies, procedures, and operational manuals. The EIT PMO oversees the EIT portfolio, promoting pragmatic yet sound processes for work intake, prioritization, and successful execution within a transitioning SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) environment. KEY ROLES/RESPONSIBILITIES The SOM IT Agile Project Manager will play a key role in supporting a new National Laboratory effort, the SOM (Standard Organoid Model) Initiative. Enterprise IT is deploying new infrastructure and new lab-supporting software in support of a complex, new R&D effort across the spectrum of modern scientific practice, from bench to automation to AI/ML. The Agile PM will work closely with our SAFe Release Train Engineer (RTE) to support implementation of the infrastructure and software using Kanban and ADO. Additionally, will support our FNLCR infrastructure and Operations Director/Associate Director to integrate their teams into EIT’s ADO ecosystem, and transition to our SAFe operating model.
