Job Description:
Precision Private Security is hiring professional Special Event Security Officers for event-based assignments in the Yuba City area and surrounding communities.

Special event security requires more than simply showing up in uniform. It requires presence, judgment, discipline, communication, and the ability to stay calm when crowds are moving, emotions are high, and every detail matters.

We are looking for dependable, trained, and professional officers who can represent Precision Private Security with confidence during high-visibility events. This position is ideal for officers who take pride in their appearance, understand the importance of de-escalation, and know how to maintain order without creating unnecessary conflict.

This is not a placeholder post. We are looking for officers who can stand a post, control access, communicate clearly, document incidents properly, and represent the company with professionalism from start to finish.

Primary Responsibilities
Special Event Security Officers are responsible for:
•Providing a visible, professional security presence at special events.
•Controlling access points, entrances, exits, restricted areas, and assigned posts.
•Assisting with crowd management, guest flow, and line control.
•Monitoring for suspicious activity, disturbances, safety concerns, intoxication-related issues, trespassing, unauthorized access, and policy violations.
•Supporting event staff, property representatives, supervisors, and law enforcement when needed.
•Responding to incidents calmly and professionally.
•Using verbal de-escalation to reduce conflict whenever possible.
•Enforcing event rules and client site procedures in a firm, respectful, and consistent manner.
•Patrolling assigned event areas, parking lots, perimeters, vendor spaces, and access points.
•Reporting emergencies to law enforcement, fire, medical responders, supervisors, or dispatch when appropriate.
•Completing accurate Incident Reports and Daily Activity Reports when required.
•Maintaining professional awareness and strict compliance with company policy at all times.
•Maintaining a clean uniform, professional appearance, and strong command presence throughout the assignment.

Minimum Requirements
Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:
•Must be at least 18 years old.
•Must have an active California BSIS Guard Card in good standing.

•Must complete required annual continuing education/refresher training as applicable.
•Must have reliable transportation.
•Must possess a valid government-issued ID or valid driver’s license.
•Must pass background screening consistent with California employment law.
•Must be able to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and event-based schedules.
•Must be able to stand, walk, patrol, monitor crowds, and remain alert for extended periods.
•Must be able to communicate clearly and professionally with guests, staff, supervisors, clients, and emergency responders.
•Must be able to write clear, factual, and professional reports.
•Must maintain a professional appearance and clean uniform.
•Must comply with all company policies regarding uniforms, use of force, reporting, safety, confidentiality, drugs, alcohol, tobacco, vaping, impairment, and professional conduct.
