Job Description

BCS Allegient has a 35-year history of helping government, research, and private sector clients implement their programs and missions to achieve success. We offer a breadth of professional support services in the areas of business management, communications, systems engineering, analysis, mission execution, and organization performance. BCS Allegient is looking for an Executive Administrative Assistant to support the Department of Energy's Office of Environmental Management (DOE EM).

This position is fully onsite at DOE HQ’s in Washington DC.

Salary range: $70K-$90K depending on years of experience.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • The ability to organize and manage a fast paced and complex office environment remotely and in person.
  • The experience to handle scheduling in a rapidly changing environment. Using various forms of technology such as video teleconferencing, Adobe Pro, and MS Office applications.
  • Data collection from files and staff for routine inquiries on office programs or periodic reports.
  • Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and presentation briefings as well as correspondence.
  • The ability to work independently and in a group.
  • At least 8 years of relevant experience (DOE experience preferred).
  • Bachelor's degree required in a field of relevant study (greater levels of professional/technical expertise may be substituted for degree).
  • Expertise in the following Microsoft applications: MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS Excel.
  • Experience with Microsoft Teams is beneficial.
  • Expertise in Adobe Pro, Zoom, Webex.
  • Knowledge of government travel systems, applications (e.g. Concur and Adtrav).
  • Proficient in managing Outlook Calendar, able to respond to and adjust frequent calendar changes/requests.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • (Preferred) Proficiency in DOE corporate systems such as ESS, ATAAPS, and eDOCS.
