Responsibilities:
OMD has determined the need for an Offshore Finance - Lead. The position will be part of the OMD FP&A team in NYC and is responsible for supporting the team on month end close, monthly reforecasts, cost control, financial accounting, and financial analysis. The ideal candidate will report to the Finance Manager and would be detailed oriented, highly organized, communicate effectively, and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Job Duties:
- Responsible for the monthly financial planning analysis for multiple P&L departments.
- Perform payroll variance analysis and roll-forwards for reasonableness and accuracy.
- Prepare support schedules for inter/intra company allocations, accruals, deferrals, and corresponding journal entries.
- Publish and reconcile the monthly actuals, reforecasts, and budget between TM1 and OneStream.
- Review and reconcile offshore and nearshore charges.
- Assist in the coordination with multiple Financial Directors to ensure proper tracking of payroll movements and intercompany crosscharges
- Upkeep and refresh database for payroll (Flash Billings and Revenue) and expenses (P&L).
- Ad-hoc reporting includes reviewing and submitting financial reports in either system [Excel, TM1, OneStream]. Reports include but are not limited to: Payroll schedules (onshore, nearshore and offshore), P&L, and Hours.
Qualifications:
The candidate will need to possess the following skills:
Required
- Finance, Accounting, or other relevant degree
- Ability to multi-task and perform under pressure
- Highly detail oriented, good organizational skills and deadline oriented.
- Self-starter and independent/pro-active thinker who has the desire to work in a fast-paced organization.
- Ability to work autonomously at times.
- Strong knowledge of Excel (including x-lookups and pivot tables) and work with large volumes of data (background in Power Query preferred).

- Strong communication and writing skills.
- Strong technical accounting and analytical skills
- Outgoing personality and ability to establish rapport and work efficiently with all team members serving various functions at various levels.
