    QUALIFICATIONS:
    List on application experience that is relevant to this position.  Instructional Assistant II's mild/moderate - working with students served in Resource, Learning Handicap or Communicatively Handicap programs. Example of typical duties include running small groups, assisting students in large groups in both Special Day Class settings or General Education and supporting the teacher's needs. We are looking for candidates with any combination of experience and training which provides the candidate with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job duties; See the job description for full details.
              *In some programs, possession of, or willingness and ability to obtain a valid California Class C Driver License within 30 days of hire or before driving any equipment/vehicle requiring this license*

    MATERIALS REQUIRED/REQUIREMENTS:

    Must pre-qualify by attaching one documentation [A, B, C, or D item] from the following list:

    • [A] Passing score from SJUSD's Proficiency Exam - testing date must be April 2005 to current. No other school districts proficiency exam accepted.  To schedule a testing appointment, click here: Pre-Employment Test

      OR

    • [B] Official passing score from the California Basic Educational Skills Test (CBEST)

      OR

    • [C] OFFICIAL transcripts demonstrating the completion of two years of college (48 semester/60 quarter units)***

      OR

    • [D] Proof of an A.A. degree (or higher)***.

    ***If your degree/transcripts are from a foreign college or university, YOU MUST have coursework evaluated for its equivalency to a degree/transcripts received from an accredited United States college or university.
